Welcome!

We’re glad you’re here.

The Bridge

 Sundays @ 9:15am

The Bridge meets each Sunday at 9:15 AM in the fellowship hall.  The Bridge is a unique blend of contemporary worship and a relevant message in a relaxed atmosphere.  Immediately following the worship service are LIFE Groups (available for all ages pre-K to adult).  In the LIFE Groups, we discuss that morning’s Scripture and message in a deeper way.

Livingston Methodist Traditional Worship

Sundays @ 11:00am

Each Sunday morning, we gather in the sanctuary at 11:00 AM for a traditional, yet relevant worship service.  From the moment the candles are lit, to the singing of the hymns, to when we walk out into the world, it is our goal to both inspire and challenge each person to a closer walk with God.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ! What we believe is important. I often wonder how people prepare to listen to God. This is what helps me. I like to pray the Apostles' Creed. Each time I say it, I remember the faith passed down through generations. I am thankful that the Global Methodist Church is a creedal community, faithfully confessing the Apostles' Creed. Like Holy Scripture, the Creed should never become something we say without thinking. It should always remind us of the unchanging truth of the Gospel. The Apostles' Creed has lasted through the ages. For centuries, Christians everywhere have used it as a true summary of our faith. When we confess the Apostles' Creed, we join hundreds of millions of Christians around the world and throughout history in proclaiming the faith we share. It reminds us that we are part of the one, holy, catholic, and apostolic Church, united in the truth of Jesus Christ. We do not merely recite the Apostles' Creed—we confess it. Anyone can read words printed in a bulletin, but to confess is to declare from the heart, "I believe this. This is my faith." As we confess the Creed together, we publicly affirm the historic Christian faith and stand with believers across the world and throughout the centuries in proclaiming the truth of the Gospel.Did you know? The first creed of the Christian Church was the confession, "Jesus is Lord" Romans 10:9; 1 Corinthians 12:3. It was a public confession of faith and often came at great personal cost.Today, I will love others as Jesus has loved me.Rev. Dunford Cole ... See MoreSee Less

“It is a place where I feel God’s presence as I worship and fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ.”

– Peggy

“Livingston Methodist is more than just the place we go on Sundays. There are people of all ages in this church who support the individual needs of my wife and myself and provide Godly examples for my children. As a husband and father of three sons, I honestly couldn’t do life without LUMC. We all have our struggles, and we are all imperfect, but I cannot express the gratitude I have for this church full of people who love my family.”

-Matt

“Grad school was full of trials and hard times, but Livingston Methodist provided much needed comfort and joy.”

-Mollie

“Livingston Methodist is my safe place where I feel completely whole. Every time I am there it makes me remember that life here on Earth is only temporary and that God gives us the ability to face anything while we are here, but that the ultimate reward is our eternity we get to spend with Him. I feel that comfort and peace every time I attend a worship service or a life group at LUMC.”

– Annie

“Livingston Methodist has provided opportunities for my spiritual growth for the entirety of my adult life. It is my spiritual oasis.”

– Carole
